Deep Impact

What would you do if you knew that a comet was supposed to hit the earth and wipe out the entire population?

Would you risk your life if it meant saving the lives of milions of other people?

Would you give up your seat in the craft that was taking you to a place that would save your life for a woman with a baby?

They’re some of the questions that the movie “Deep Imapct” made me think about. At first I was thinking that this was just going to be one of those natural disaster movies that Hollywood has just completely overdone (remember “Twister”, “Volcano”, and all those other ones which I never bothered seeing because they all looked too predictable.

Anyway. “Deep Impact” is a terrific movie - the special effects for one thing. But there was something more about it. I just liked it. I’ll write a review about it later when I can be bothered.

So tonight is Chad’s party - this is going to be interesting. *ahem* To put it nicely.
