Australia is kicking butt in the Commonwealth Games - we won a ton of gold medals yesterday, and I'm sure we'll win even more tonight. That's why I love the Commonwealth Games - winning so many medals in them, it sure is a great feeling. Too bad if Australia becomes a republic, we won't be in them anymore.

I went down to the video store today, and hired out "My Fair Lady", starring Audrey Hepburn. It's long, nearly 3 hours long, and since there were so many interruptions this afternoon, I haven't finished watching it all. But it's soo good, I can't believe I haven't seen it before! I remember dancing to some of the songs in one of my tap performances - like "Get Me To The Church" and "I Could Have Danced All Night", and I love "The Rain in Spain". I have the video for another week, so I'll have plenty of time to watch it this week. I love the story so far - the way that Eliza Doolittle can be transformed from a poor flower girl into a person of high society, just by changing the way she talks.

My last day of being 17. This time tomorrow, I'll be 18...

My sister has another broken leg. The thing is, we don't know how she got it. Being in a wheelchair, you'd think she wouldn't get broken links, but this is about her 4th or 5th one. *sigh* She spent the day in the hospital, and now it's in a splint (the leg, not the hospital). Poor girl. Why does everything wrong have to happen to her?
