first day of spring!

Today is the first day of spring, so how can I not be in a good mood?

The sun is incredibly warm and bright today. If it wasn't for this essay that I must write today, I'd spend the afternoon sitting outside, eating strawberries, and reading my new copy of "I Was a Teenage Fairy", that finally came in for me at the bookstore yesterday. However, I don't think this essay will be too bad to write, which gives me hope. And after this one - no more, for quite some time. Hooray.

As well as the sunshine, there are now only 25 days until I can go home for the holidays, and I'll get to talk to Russell tonight. That always puts me in a good mood, no matter what the weather. To add to this, Pat & I saw an incredibly funny movie last night ("Mr Deeds" - all hail Adam Sandler! ha), and have just spent some nice time this weekend just talking and hanging out, while Jane's been at her parents place. The knowledge that I now know I can afford to stay at Uni up here has just eased the stress so much, and as a result, I'm actually happy again. I'm starting to find stability up here in Queensland, and it just feels nice. Maybe I can pull this off after all.
