Things are tiring at the moment. I spent the weekend busy with rehearsals for "Bugsy Malone", which has its opening night tomorrow night. The kids were crazy - running after over 50 of them is not easy work. Trying to keep them quiet backstage last night was nearly impossible. As much as I love the kids, I was ready to kill some of them by the end of the 7-hour rehearsal. How many times can you tell kids to keep quiet and keep out of the wings before you go insane? I'm beginning to find out the answer to that. Tonight is the full dress rehearsal, and I'm trying to psyche myself up for another big night, but it's not working too well.

I came home last night and my housemates were watching Joan of Arc and after yesterday's rehearsal, all those sounds of battle and screaming were enough to just kill me.

I'm just worn out. But nevermind, it always works out okay in the end.

On another note, I just brought Pat's birthday present, I have time to write letters this afternoon, Jane + I are going to Border's so I can get the new Tori CD, and I brought mince + tortillas because I've been having insane burrito cravings lately. I also awoke to a gorgeous text message, email, and msn conversation with Russell this morning. So its really not all bad at the moment, and I just need to stop choosing to focus on the bad stuff, because there's always something nice to look forward to.
