"its like looking at a comet!" he says about my glitter

Pat just came in before and told me that I spend way too much time, sitting in the dark, being on the internet, and listening to Tori Amos. He told me that it would make me sad and depressed, and then he stopped and thought about it. "On second thoughts, it probably regulates you. If you didn't do that you'd be too happy and spinning around all over the place. So keep doing it!"

He also asked me why I woke up wearing glitter. "Do you sleep in glitter in yr bed?" It takes me back to a time when one of his friends told him that I sounded like the happiest person in the world when I was on the phone.

Yesterday I drove up to the Sunshine Coast, about an hour + a half up north. I met up with a friend, Naomi, who moved up there about the same time I moved to Qld, and we had lunch, walked along the beach, looked in the shops on the boardwalk, and ate icecream. It was wonderful to catch up with her again, and we laugh at the coincidence of us both moving to Qld at the same time, when we've always lived just around the corner from each other back home. She gave me this gorgeous sparkly top as well - pastel colours with a hint of glitter.

I also visited my relatives who live up there - the ones I stayed with when I first moved to Queensland, and my other aunt & uncle as well. I hadn't seem them since July, and it's funny how so much has happened since I was first living up there, yet walking back into their houses, it was like no time had passed at all.

This week is madly studying for exams, and catching up on dance classes missed because of "Bugsy Malone". So I may not be around too much, and I know I have emails to reply to as well, but I'll see how everything else goes first.

So if I appear to be anti-social, you know what I'll be doing.
