i'm not sure which has made me the happiest this week - seeing the two towers for the third time yesterday (oh that movie gets better and better everytime i watch it), or discovering that the 5th Harry Potter book will be out on june 21 this year :D

ahh, they're both great things. hurrah.

we went out last night for haylea's birthday - brooke, marianne, and some of haylea's other friends - first taking a boat ride out into the ocean, and then having a long dinner at a restaurant by the beach. a most enjoyable evening. i've discovered how much i look forward to spending time with friends from work - it's never stressful, and always interesting, even if we're just having a good talk. we're trying to organise going to the australia day skyshow next sunday night as my going away event, and if it works out, it will be possibly one of the highlights of my summer spent in adelaide. it's nice to be with a group of friends and just be yourself, you know?

it keeps getting harder and harder to leave again. was it ever this hard in the first place?

I so feel what you mean ... about leaving ... it is hard for me, too, whenever I do.
