I'm back, finally. In case you were wondering [probably not], my holiday was good. We went on a cruise in the South Pacific Ocean. I guess I don't want to blab on about it though, considering I've been back for well over a month...I just never got around to updating this page upon my return. Nevermind.

I've been back at Uni for a month now, and I can't believe how quickly this semester is going, nor can I believe how much work I've gotten myself involved in. Originally I was going to take it easy this semester, and fully recuperate from my little incident last semester. For those that don't know, I got really sick in the middle of last term, more than likely brought on by stress. It only made things worse for myself; Ben is constantly telling me that I'm doing too much, and I'm inclined to believe him. Only I haven't actually taken heed to his advice as yet - and I'm wondering what exactly I'm getting myself into this time.

Right now I'm stage managering the uni drama play for this semester, "Our Country's Good". It's turning out to be a much bigger job than expected, although I always knew that the role of the stage manager was basically to "run" the show - co-ordinating all areas of the production, from the actors to set design to costumes to lighting and sound. There are rehearsals every single day of until we perform, which I'm quite...overwhelmed by, considering how many other commitments I have at the moment, not to mention working, and oh yeah, how about studying? Hmmm. We perform 6 shows, from October 10-20, so there's really not that long to go, when you think about it. I hope it will go okay, but I think we're off to a good start, besides the fact it's been a ton of work already. Remember how I said in my last entry that I was determined to get involved in more theatre work when I returned home from my holiday? Well, I'm finally back there again.

What else am I doing? I've started a short film course here too. I'm currently involved in making another short film, which we actually start filming next weekend. I'm nervous! I'm working with these 3 guys, Alec, Adrian and Pete, and I think we have a good idea for our film, but we'll see how it goes. It's kind of about adrenaline, living on the edge - crazy things that teenagers do for fun. It's illegal, it's crazy, and if we get it *just* right, I think it will be a lot of fun to watch as well as to make. Oh and in case you're wondering...everything we do is planned (including the bit at the end when we get arrested...ho hum), from stealing the street sign (that's my bit! haha) to breaking into a house. It should be an interesting night.

I'm still doing my singing lessons too, and I lovelovelove them...we have a concert coming up in less than a month's time, I'm so nervous...so far my group is singing "Fame" (which is my personal theme song, so I'm taking it as a good sign that we're even learning it), and "Foolish Games" by Jewel. We're learning other songs at the moment too, but they're the main ones we're singing.

Anyway, I'm kind of writing this at the same time as writing a review for one of my classes at Uni, and as you can imagine I'm really not getting a lot done, so I will end this here. I'll try and update more frequently from here on!
