a new day

Today's a new day. I can't believe how quickly this mid-semester break is going. I haven't been as productive as I would have liked to be, but on the other hand, I haven't exactly been wasting time either. It's not all bad.

Today I have to do my storyboard for Multimedia Concepts. It's really not too exciting. I started to design my video in the shape of a webpage, so all I have to do is just copy it all down on paper, but at least I know the general layout and what I'm going to write. It's not hard, just time consuming.

I think I'm finally all caught up on my sleep now. I've been seriously lacking in the rest department, especially after the last 5 days or so. I went clubbing on Saturday night, with my friend Steven. He was home from Nowra for the week, and I managed to catch up with him a few times, which was wonderful. However, clubbing on Saturday night wasn't too exciting. We went to a club in town called Heaven with his friend Brownie, and Brownie's girlfriend Jen, but the guys didn't want to dance. Which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of going to a club... if you just want to sit and drink, then go to a pub!! My dear friend Sarah and her friend Nyola met us at Heaven for a little while, but mostly the place was quiet. It wasn't a bad night, but I've had better. Still, catching up with Steven made it all worth it.

I'm still smiling about Monday night. Michael and I, and Stewart and I, have been sending each other little text messages on our phones. Yes, we live in a yuppie society... but the messages are sweet. I love being able to keep in touch with them like that throughout the week.

I have homework to do today, and I guess I'm procrastinating. I have a rehearsal tonight for "Waltzes in Vienna"... in less than a month, we perform, so I guess we really have to get this thing looking good. Tonight is the last episode of The Mole, and I'm more than a little curious to see who the Mole really is.
