incidentally, it's not the job for which i had a second interview with today. it's this job, the one that i described nearly a month ago as being "my ideal job".
so they'd hired this other person for it, but it turns out that she wasn't working out, her attitude wasn't all that great, etc etc. so i'm driving back from my other job interview this morning (which incidentally, went alright, but not great, but i actually didn't care too much, having decided that it wasn't really the right job for me after all), when the lady from the recruitment agency, the one who first contacted me about the nutritionist receptionist job, rang me. 2 hours later, i was at the nutrition clinic, having interviews, doing typing tests, and an afternoon of work experience.
i have another day of work experience on thursday. and then i may start the job on friday :D
caron, my potential boss, and the woman who started this clinic years ago, says to me, "i'm feeling really positive about this".
i think it's all going to work out just fine. i can't believe i might really have a job - a good job, learning about the things i'm most interested in - by the end of this week! i feel like i must have been born under a lucky star :)
