scarlet's walk

let the weekend continue ?

i just watched dirty dancing and oh i love that movie. the end scene, the famous dance, lifts my heart like you wouldn't believe. especially when she runs and does the lift into his arms - i smile ever so much in that part for reasons i can't fully describe. i feel this connection with 'the dance kids' because they remind me of the ragtag group of drama friends i had and how living your dream could be the most amazing experience. i saw dirty dancing 2: havana nights with my cousin the other night and it was seriously the worst movie i've seen in so long. i was offended they even had the nerve to name it after the original when it was so bad. there are some movies you just can't remake, especially when the actors can't act and the script is as corny as a bold and the beautiful episode. me, bitter? nah.

oh i don't want it to be monday yet, but i need to stop being negative and just get on with the week. i say that it's all about self-fulfilling prophecies and if you're going to complain about mondays, of course they're going to suck; but there's ever so much i'd love to do instead. still, working means being able to afford to go to england amongst other things and as bored as i get at times {oh, challenge me?} i really don't have a reason to complain. note to self: be more positive this week. and stop bitching about certain people, even if they do give you their filing to do and class it as "overdue work". motor claims officer on a power trip but there are much more important things to think about. like what program to try downloading next from kazaa lite. oh hooray {ha}.

i'm hoping for a much simpler week.
{what are you hoping for ?}

because we say goodnight, not goodbye
