I really do need to see that film
Have you seen his other films? I recommend bowling for columbine

i really like bowling for columbine - again, it is another powerful movie. i've also got the first season of the awful truth and wow - it makes you so angry at how things are. i can only watch it a few episodes at a time.

i found that movie so painfully hard to watch at times but i thought it was amazing and that everyone - especially US voters - should watch it. bush's administration is so terrifying to me - it makes me sick to think of the things they get away with and the way they abuse fear and grief to further their own agenda; i wish i were voting in Pennsylvania, which is a swing state that could go either way, but i'll be in NY by then.

i'm really glad this came out before the 2004 election - i really hope that it has the effect we need.
if Bush wins the next election, it'll be just... sick.

It was such an excellent, heartbreaking movie. I felt the same way coming out of it. sigh. xoxo

Moore makes me angry. I can't bring myself to see it.

If you have a chance to buy it though, pick up the 9/11 Commission Report. I read one paragraph at work, a conversation a son had with his father before the plane crashed. It nearly made me cry.

"If it happens, don't worry Dad. It'll be quick."

i know.. that movie made me laugh, cry, and feel so angry.

But mostly it made me cry..
It was horrible. We were killing innocent lives for.... oil. After watching it, i felt like writing a letter to those poor people asking them not to judge the whole country by our stupid leader.. that I felt so horribly terrified and sad about what we were doing to them and that I'm praying for them and their familes.

exactly. it seems that the dollar means so much more than the human life. and that is so messed up. and those poor young soliders sent over to Iraq for no reason at all. my goodness, it makes my heart break.
