sleep? SLEEP!
i am home again, safe and sound. i think i am jetlagged
going through all my photos and sorting out the best ones
i'll post some later.

it is strange to be home, i am ready to fly off again already.

but, i'm back and it was a long and boring flight (20 hours !) but i had some things to laugh about which i'll share later when i am a little more coherent; i miss Alex and being in England and travelling around, but it is sort of nice to be able to sort through my pictures and relive some of the moments in the last 5 weeks.

i know i'll never be able to catch up on everyone's entries from the last 6 weeks. tell me how you've been?

welcome home darling. i'm pleased to hear you're back safe and sound - i've been thinking of you these last few days, wondering where you'd be. i've loved reading about your adventures on the emails and livejournal and i'm looking forward to hearing more (and seeing the pics of course). i'm pleased you had a top time jade, you deserve it. xx love ames.

Welcome home! Long flights suck, I used to live in the Phillipines and would fly from there to Ireland (where I was born) a lot.

Don't worry about catching up on my entries. The biggest news I have is that I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year and failing horribly. Haha.

hello, i just came upon your journal through a friend and i was wondering what sort of camera you took on your trip to england? was it film or digital? and if it was digital, did you find it easy to charge and everything? i'm planning a trip overseas and i'm unsure of what camera to take. hope you can help me by answering these questions! *smiles* thanks heaps :)

hi! :) i took a digital camera with me, but here's the thing; i had it stolen 2 weeks into the holiday (i was gone for about 5 weeks), and had to replace it (make sure you have travel insurance -- it seriously saved me!!). but anyway, the first camera i had, that i originally took, was a Nikon. i got extra memory cards from ebay, but it is a good idea to try and get the photos transferred onto cd at a photo place as often as possible -- as i found out the hard way when a week's worth of photos of several different places got stolen when my camera was pinched. charging it was fine, although having a spare battery was good too, as not every hostel i stayed in had available power sockets.

after my camera was stolen, i replaced it with a Canon Powershot that used the same memory cards, so i only had to buy one to replace the one that was in the nikon when it was stolen. also the canon used AA batteries so they were easy to replace when they went flat.

eep, i've written a novel! hope that helps a little... feel free to ask any other questions you might have :) where are you travelling to?

(ps: i really found that having a digi cam was the best -- you can take as many photos as you like {or have the memory for anyway!}, you can view them straight away and if they don't work out or are blurry or something, you can delete them and take them again. i took soo many photos while i was away, but i wouldn't have been able to do that with film - and it's nice to get those random shots without worrying about "wasting" film. okay, i'll stop rambling now... lol)
