fuck them and their rigged systems.
to the US Federal Government,

that's all i can think of to say about it all, really.
it makes me feel so mad, so helpless, so... disillusioned.

keep your chins up, my dears. they might win the election, but they'll never win our souls.

you are more than what your government says you are

Jon Stewart is great

"The country is proving to be like a dream I had... where I woke up crying."

This is just insane. How can almost every US newspaper and many international publications be wrong about endorsing Kerry?

I don't understand. I really really don't. And I'm scared.

The only comfort I will take is that it appears that most of the Upper Midwest (MN, WI and MI) are leaning towards Kerry.

Thank goodness I'm from Minnesota. Otherwise I would give up on this country altogether.

I am from IL, which Kerry won, but I come from a hick town, which Kerry probably did not win. But I know exactly what you mean, Jade, especially after being to London and seeing their response to Bush when he visited last year. We (the U.S.) are fucking sickos to the rest of the world, and I can't stand hearing people in my country who've never been abroad act like they know how the world perceives us.
