more crafts inspiration

i think i am honestly about the happiest person in the world right now. my room is full of wonderful, wonderful craft books, all thanks to the amazing libraries we have around this area. sigh, i could honestly spend all day in one of them, and there are 5 in our area ! i went to one that i hadn't been to since i was at uni, and it was so marvellous, browsing the shelves and oh, so many fabulous books. it is so lovely to find & read books on things i love just because i want to, and not for an assignment like in my uni days.

so many wonderfully inspiring books. i got books on:
x. book making/book binding
x. altered book art
x. soap making
x. candle making
x. paper crafts

and the january 2005 issue of australian house and garden magazine, which makes me smile because i never realised the library had such an extensive & up-to-date range of magazines to borrow - but they do ! they even have my beloved vogue magazines, and i'm so thrilled about getting to read them even when i'm trying to save money. i probably sound like the world's biggest dork here, but honestly, i am so happy right now. you can find all the information you want on the internet, but there is something so wonderful and real about books; and discovering all these amazing resources, waiting on bookshelves to be borrowed and used, has just spun me into a semi-state of delerium.

*happy sighs*

also i got amazing mail from fructiferous tonight - amazing cds and a beautiful card {thankyou so much angel &hearts}; and on tuesday was a truly wonderful box from alex_faerie, and i just feel so incredibly loved & special & blessed to have all of you lovelies as friends people in my life. thankyou, so much.

i'm writing notes to go with the zine orders that have come in, and hopefully i'll get them all sent out tomorrow. the only thing that's really bothering me at the moment is...

which craft book do i read first? O_o
