i can't believe it's finally finished... anyway, here it is. quarter size, 48 pages, very text heavy (even more than my other ones). themed between reality and dreams, this one is about growing up and believing in dreams, and what happens when you realise the dream might not come true. includes pieces about office life, feeling let down when life doesn't turn out quite as you'd dreamt it to be when you were a kid, updates on my working holiday thoughts, pieces are R and the circles we spin, my fiction piece bella, and more.
the cost is $ 2.50 within australia (includes postage), $ 3.80 everywhere else. i've been thinking a lot about my prices, and i know they seem high, but please realise that i do not make any profit on these at all - once i pay for copying each zine, postage, paypal fees, and the consumables like the ink & cardstock for the covers... not that i do this to make money, but i just want people to realise that while $ 3.80 is high for a zine (i would really like to lower the price, if i could, but i'm already making a loss so there's no way), it all goes towards the printing & distribution of this. i just wanted to make that clear ;)
i accept PayPal, direct bank deposit for people in Australia, or concealed cash. selective trades are welcome but email me first. my paypal address is email@example.com, email me for bank deposit details or my address. um, i think that's all i need to say?
issues of winterspark 1 & 2 are still available too -- i can give you 2 zines (any 2 titles) for $ 4.00 within australia, $ 7.00 everywhere else, or all 3 for $ 5.00 within australia, $ 9.00 everywhere else. consideration copies will be sent to the distros who already carry my zines, any other distros feel free to contact me for one if you might be interested. wholesale rates available.
(grrr....my server is being a pain tonight. sometimes the images work, sometimes they don't. apologies if they don't show up :()
just to say that i can't really afford to send out any free copies of this one, at least not yet... maybe in a month or so it'll be okay, but i just ran off 50 copies tonight at officeworks, and some of them i want to send to distros to stock, and of course, people who do actually pay for them are my first priority. i hate to sound mean, and i don't mean to, really i don't, and i hate even asking for people to pay which is why i give out so many free copies in the first place... but yeah. i can't do that with this one :( i'm sorry, maybe later?
