Live 8

I am listening to the Best of the Live 8 shows on AOLradio right now; Madonna is on singing "Like A Prayer" and it sends shivers down my spine.
It's so easy to be cynical that it can do any good; but we must believe.
Isn't it better to try than to be entirely apathetic and not even bother?

Did anyone here go to any of the concerts? _dispatched, weren't you going to Hyde Park? It must have been so amazing to be there.

It's 2:30pm and I'm still in my pajamas. I've been playing The Sims and not getting as bored as quickly as I did last week. I've been playing the Vacation expansion pack and my Sim is finally making friends! haha. I might install Superstar next and have a go at that. I get bored pretty quickly, which is probably a good thing, considering. It's a pretty big timewaster. I might get Sims 2 for my laptop, whenever that is. I just like all the Expansions for the original... even if I can't pay attention for more than an hour at a time.

I am attempting to put a new layout on my LJ (and finally change over to S2). So if this looks a mess, you'll know I stuffed it up. Haha.
