Harry Potter fans can relate, I'm sure...

3 days !!

So how are you lovelies (the Harry Potter fans anyway) planning to spend this weekend? ;)

What time does the book come out where you are? I mean, it's 12:01am English time (July 16), and it's being released at 8:31am (July 16) over here. Which is the perfect time really, because it means 2 full days of reading time ahead (well, for those who don't have to work on weekends, but anyway). I still haven't preordered my copy yet but I think I will tomorrow night anyway, just because it was fun getting to the bookstore early on Saturday morning with all the other mad fans, and being all excited and talking about the books with random strangers whilst waiting in line. Then I will grab some snacks from the supermarket, and go home to curl up in the lounge room and either have the movies on in the background (even though I don't like them a lot, but it will set the mood), or the soundtracks on in my iPod. I think. The other possibility is to stay out, go to a cafe and order a drink or some breakfast and read for a bit and soak in the atmosphere (and see how many others are doing the same). Not sure yet.

What are you guys going to do?

Also, I'm still undecided as to whether I am going to try and read it slowly and savour it (after all, it's been 2 years since the excitement of the last one, and who knows how long it will be until number 7?), or whether the anticipation will be too much and I'll end up finishing it over the weekend, and then going back to read it slowly. That's what ended up happening last time. Plus I'm scared that if I read it slowly (although somehow I sort of doubt I will be able to do that no matter how good my intentions are; I've never been able to read a new HP book slowly, even when I first started reading them and there were 4 I had to catch up on) I'll go online and read spoilers somewhere (probably not from my friends list because everyone here is respectful enough to put spoilers under a cut... RIGHT?); I think I will avoid my usual places I go to (like the Vogue forums, or at least the Arts section) until I've finished reading it.

Haha, I am a DORK. :D

Anyway, tell me what you plan to do. I'm curious :)
