okay, so reading scrapbooking magazines wasn't really the brightest thing to do whilst on a strict budget.

have you ever tried to make an altered book? i'm working on one right now. i'm using Romeo and Juliet for mine. do a google search for altered books - i like it more than scrapbooking!

aw, i feel you! surely you have lots of scrap booking/ arts n' craft fodder about. i'd love to have an artfest with you sometime. are you on AIM much? i'm not but i do log on at least once a month to do a virtual art fest with my friend in kentucky. =) we set up our play spaces near the computer and create and chat intermitantly. maybe we could do that sometime if we can figure out a reasonable time that we're both awake, lol!

i'm looking forward to catching up w/your journal and reading the prose you've posted recently. and I WANT a copy of your zine! i'll try to remember to order one soon!

on an unrelated note: do you like funky sox?

does your library carry them?

ok, that sent without me finishing:
because i get them from the library, and then use what i would have spent on that magazine for supplies. makes me feel less guilty.

that's an excellent idea, I know my old library had them, I'll have to start checking them out. Thanks hon!

Why is it that most of the time.. craft/hobby products are so expensive?
