scarlet's walk

I am really shocked about Steve Irwin's sudden death. I found out about it when I saw a newspaper headline that someone was reading on the tube tonight, and it just shocked me beyond words.

Not that I was ever a big fan of his or really cared a lot about him when he was alive BUT it just seems that some people will live forever; that he died, and in such a way, is a reminder that no-one is invincible. Even if they seem larger than life.

I don't really know what else to say. It's strange when celebrities die, not because their lives mean more than anyone else's, but because you realise that no-one is immune from the inevitable end, no matter how much fame, money or power they have. And it really could happen at any time.
