What can I say?
I got my tattoo on Friday! I ended up getting a shooting star on my ankle... after all those years of saying I was going to get a unicorn, but when I went to the tattoo parlour (Four Roses), the guy said that a unicorn would probably be too big for my ankle, and if he shrunk it down to look alright, it would look more like a rat!! Um, no thanks, I don't want a rat on my ankle! So I looked around at the other pictures, and decided that I wanted to get a shooting star. I saw a picture of one, and now that's what I have on my ankle. I really like it! It's very simple, but colourful. And it actually didn't hurt all that much either. Everyone kept saying to me that it would hurt a lot, but with that in mind... it really didn't.
I want to get another one now - just one more! I want a faerie on my shoulder blade. Alex has already eagerly volunteered to come with me to get it done (he was disappointed I didn't end up taking him with me on Friday when I got the star done), but I think I'll wait a bit longer before going again - just so I'm giving this some real thought.
I'm glad the petrol rationing is over for the time being, but who knows when it will start again? Things are kinda... crazy right now.
And I have no idea who to vote for in the Federal Election. *sigh*
On Friday, after getting my tattoo, I caught up with Charlotte, and then later on, had coffee with Alex as well. Then on Saturday night, was Stewart's birthday. We went to this bar in Rundle Street, called Fumo Blu, which was, in a word... classy. Blue lighting, huge cocktails, couches. I'm not a classy person, but it's fun to pretend for a few hours.
I have to go to work now :\
